Patrick Rosenthal hat schon früh die Liebe zum Reisen entdeckt. Eintauchen in andere Kulturen und Kochtöpfe wurden schnell zu einer großen Leidenschaft. Er nutzte das Angebot als Journalist Hotels auf der ganzen Welt zu testen und darüber zu schreiben.
Seine Liebe zum Kochen und Backen hat er vor einigen Jahren wiederentdeckt als seine Mutter verstarb. Die meiste Zeit seines Lebens war er rastlos. Immer auf der Suche nach etwas Neuen.
»Das war eine tolle Zeit, denn wenn man die Augen offenhält, sieht man so viel Wunderbares und erkennt aber auch, dass die Beständigkeit ein großes Geschenk sein kann,« so Rosenthal.
Und genau darum geht es ihm: Die Schönheit in etwas sehr Alltäglichen zu finden. Der Zubereitung von Speisen, das gemeinsame Essen mit Freunden, das Ausprobieren von neuen Produkten, das Reisen und das Fotografieren.
Das inoffizielle Kochbuch zu Game of Thrones ist Rosenthals viertes Kochbuch. Rosenthal arbeitet als Autor und Food-Fotograf, gibt Workshops für Blogger und Firmen im Bereich Social Media und ist erfolgreicher Blogger unter www.patrickrosenthal.de.
